SUMMARY:Reston and East Linton Stations
DESCRIPTION:Jonathan Long\, Systems Engineer (DPE)\, Network Rail\nGlasgow Section hybrid meeting\nIn 2023\, Network Rail opened East Linton and Reston Train Stations. This presentation looks at their history\, development\, design\, construction and eventual opening to the public. \nJonathan Long is a System Engineer who joined Network Rail in 2016 and holds substantive role as Designated Project Engineer (DPE) for various Station Projects for Capital Delivery. As the DPE on various multi-disciplined engineering projects he manages the station design assurance and interface from AIP through to detailed design\, Implementation\, EIS and hand back to asset team. Projects have included Platform extensions at Milngavie\, new platform at Dunbar.
