North Eastern Railway Engineers’ Forum 2025 (NEREF)

The PWI joins with the ICE, IMechE, IET, IRSE and Furrer + Frey to offer an evening of presentations on cross-disciplinary topics of interest to anyone working in and around railway engineering. This year we welcome speakers from Arcadis, Network Rail and Nexus on the usual broad range of subjects from our region.

The Priory Street Centre (Priory Street, York, YO1 6ET) is seven minutes from York railway station. Turn right from the station and stay on the right hand side of the road. When you can do so safely, cross the road to pass through the medieval gateway, Micklegate Bar. Priory Street is the next street on the right with the Priory Street Centre down the end on the left.

There is no parking there but there is a public car park in Nunnery Lane (YO23 1AA), just beyond Micklegate Bar in the opposite direction from the station (turning right at the traffic signals in front of Micklegate Bar if approaching from the Leeds direction) and five minutes from the Priory Street Centre.
