Thames Valley Section hybrid meeting
The session will explore future-proofing railway engineering by tackling three interconnected priorities:
• Innovation – Driving technology adoption (AI, automation, digital tools) to make rail safer, smarter, and more sustainable
• Change – Leading cultural and organisational transformation, including the name change for RailEI to reflect modern identity
• Skills – Closing the workforce gap through mentoring, apprenticeships, and partnerships with academia and industry
Section AGM – we will elect our Section Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and supporting committee.
Meeting in-person from 17:00 for refreshments courtesy of the RailEI for a 17:45 start for all.
