Railways in Ireland: Building Resilience in Railway Systems and Infrastructure

RailEI Technical Seminar

RailEI held its first full day technical seminar in Ireland in May 2024 which was a resounding success. We are therefore planning a return visit and our next Seminar will take place in Dublin this October.

Whilst the ambition for rail across the island of Ireland remains buoyant, the need for resiliency within all aspects of the current system is paramount. This Seminar will examine resiliency across all aspects of the operational railway – from the effects of climate change on existing infrastructure through to improved technological innovations helping to provide operational resiliency with ever increasing passenger demand.
You will hear from major stakeholders as they describe current and future plans for increasing the resiliency of the network, with insights into ongoing projects, plant improvements, technology and resources.

This Seminar will include opportunities for delegate interaction and participation, offering facilitated discussions and Q&As.
