Glasgow Section hybrid meeting
The presentation aims to provide an interesting insight into the trials and tribulations of railway maintenance, drawing on 12 years of experience as a Network Rail Maintenance Engineer in Scotland. After a brief career overview, case studies of significant maintenance problems and how they were overcome will be presented. The talk will conclude with some thoughts on the challenge and reward of working in Railway Maintenance, what the future looks like and some personal hints and tips on what it takes to be successful!
