Gain insights into the Mott MacDonald and WSP joint venture, an ES3 project aiming to upgrade and decarbonise the 27-mile diesel railway between Manchester and Liverpool. The session will cover the project’s delivery approach, key learnings, and how design strengthened the business case. You’ll also explore innovative decarbonisation strategies, cost-effective solutions for future capacity, and how signalling upgrades and ETCS rollout can deliver the best return for the railway.
