Thames Valley Section hybrid meeting
Drawing on the experience from LU, NR and worldwide. Peter’s presentation will look at:
• The principals of resilience to improve whole life cost of the track form system;
• Vibration mitigation;
• Optimizing stiffness transitions by managing rates of change of deflection per second;
• Use of slab track and embedded rail in level crossings;
• Fixed track forms including slab, wheel timbers/composite and direct to steel structure;
• Some current GB approvals.
