The presentation will discuss recent advances in surveying equipment including track-borne inertial measurement systems, drones and 360 imagery, and how additional value can be extracted from measurement and visualisation data in the railway environment for a wide variety of tasks, from gauging to tunnel inspection, asset identification and virtual tours.
