Synopsis: The NI Railways Permanent Way Department will present on its award winning ‘Rail Health’ strategy. They won the Asset Management and Maintenance Excellence category at the recent Rail Business Awards. This strategy was introduced in 2020 and aligned multiple key inspection and maintenance routines, including ultrasonic and eddy current testing, replacement of key assets, and rail milling. The presentation will cover developing and implementing the strategy and give detail on the benefits realised by considering the rail as a system.a high performing durable railway.

Light refreshments from 13:00 for a 14:00 start.
