Glasgow Section hybrid meeting
Synopsis:The last few years have seen a number of significant events on the railway due to the effects of climate change on victorian infrastructure. The engineering challenges involved in returning the railway back to operational use are often underestimated in terms of complexity and timescales. We will discuss the emergency response works at Lochailort, Union Canal and Carmont showing the engineering capability and the collaborative values within Scotland’s Railway.
