Synopsis: The anatomy of S&C will be dissected to explore the latest advances in technology and practices throughout its lifecycle. Starting with conceptual evaluation and ending with prolonged life use to provide a safe, reliable and sustainable system for today’s railway. New concepts and applications of the integral parts will be presented by leaders within their field of expertise to share the future of an integrated S&C design. Delegates will gain an understanding of how these innovative solutions will assist in sustaining the functionality of the system that is an intrinsic part of a highly demanded network.
Developments in vehicle interaction modelling, high speed turnouts, cast crossing manufacturing, point equipment innovations, asset monitoring along with next generation European research will be presented to provide delegates with a holistic insight into contemporary and modern S&C.
