Overview
The Helston Railway Preservation Society was the result, 15 years ago, of a vision by a small number of enthusiasts to re-open a section of the Helston branch line. With over 1000 members, the railway is the winner of the Heritage Railway of the Year Award & the HRA Website Award.

The future
For the future we have big plans – to extend the trackbed further towards Helston, build an engine shed and water tower, grow our volunteer capability and turn ourselves into a steam railway. We have proved that over the past 15 years that all things are possible – and we have the enthusiasm and dedication to keep growing.
