Telford Steam Railway

Heritage Rail Member

Overview

Telford Steam Railway is a heritage railway based in Horsehay, Telford. We currently operate approximately 1 mile of track on the Wellington and Severn Junction Railway line, the line originally ran between Wellington and Craven Arms, our current line takes in Lawley Village, Spring Village and Horsehay & Dawley stations.

We have plans to ultimately lay permanent way to bridge the cap between Horsehay and Dawley and Lightmoor Junction reinstating 2 level crossings and a bridge in the process. Short term we are planning on completing the next phase which is between Horsehay & Dawley and Doseley Halt over the next 2-3 years.
