The Practical Trackwork Challenge (PTC) is an event where the PWI undertake a track renewal on a heritage railway. The heritage railway provide the materials and our Corporate Members provide the equipment and expertise. PWI Corporate Members get to send two delegates free of charge to participate in this track renewal.
The event is open to anybody who works for a Corporate Member, however we encourage delegates who are either junior or backroom staff working in the industry who don’t normally work on site in renewals environments.
