Synopsis: Nottingham Express Transit (NET) is a 31km tram system, and is a fundamental part of one of the most comprehensive and integrated public transport networks in the country. With the system approaching its’ 20th anniversary in the city, this talk will provide a history of the project, cover current challenges following the Covid pandemic and cost of living issues, and looks at the potential for network extensions to be built in the future.
