Ashford Section Technical Visit
Itinerary
- Arrive at the East Kent Railway cafe for 13:30
- A look at the infrastructure of the EKR, which includes Golgotha Tunnel.
- A stop at Golgotha Tunnel is planned for us to see the particular challenges having a tunnel on a heritage railway entails.
- Take a trip to Eythorne on a Class 73 loco, either on board or behind in a coach.
- Please bring an orange high-vis vest and safety footwear.
