“The journey toward becoming a Fellow of the Railway Engineering Institution (RailEI) has been a rewarding and reflective experience. Becoming a Fellow of RailEI reflects both professional growth and a commitment to the industry. I found the Fellowship process to be a valuable reflective exercise, allowing me to evaluate my contributions to the sector and my journey toward leadership.

Achieving the status of RailEI Fellow represents more than just a title; it is a validation of my dedication to advancing railway engineering standards and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of engineers. Serving as a Contractor’s Engineering Manager (CEM) on CRSA S&C Renewal projects has provided me with deep insights into the complexities of multidisciplinary integration. Furthermore, maintaining a rigorous CPD record has been vital to staying current with evolving railway standards and technological innovation. This hands-on leadership experience has deepened my understanding of how various engineering functions must align to deliver safe, efficient infrastructure.”
