ARSINOE project: Infrastructure resilience in the West Country

24/10/2023 @ 12:30 - 13:30

Dr Mehdi Khoury, Senior Research Fellow – Centre For Water Systems, University of Exeter

PWI Lunch & Learn

Synopsis: ARSINOE is an EU-funded project aimed at creating climate resilient-regions through systematic solutions and innovation. Our case study area is the Torbay area – Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. We are exploring the vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure/services when facing the disruptions of climate change (e.g. extreme rainfall events and more frequent flooding) and find ways to alleviate this problem and improve resilience.
