TRU West – remodelling of Huddersfield Station

Yorkshire Section hybrid meeting
Over the past three years, the TRU project has undertaken significant remodelling of Huddersfield’s Victorian built station to make it fit for the 21st century. The project team has successfully delivered a series of major blockades lasting up to 30 days, each achieving defined Entry into Service stages.
The presentation will explore progress to date and the proposed final works, scheduled to begin in January 2027. These will require the station to close for 38 days, the longest blockade on the TRU route to date, before reopening as a completed project.
Meeting in person from 17:00 for a 17:30 start for all. Light refreshments provided.
