This presentation explores how modern RRV ballast undercutting technology is delivering step changes in railway track maintenance and renewal efficiency. Designed to operate beneath track left in situ, the undercutter can rapidly excavate even heavily consolidated ballast contaminated with fines, overcoming one of the industry’s most challenging renewal environments.
