Hear the lessons learned from a Permanent Way Engineer with over 46 years experience. Bob has been involved in over 50 derailments in a variety of roles. Whilst acknowledging that occasionally things do go wrong, there are several themes and common causes and many findings from derailment investigations have been used to improve standards.
