The theme is future-proofing railway engineering by tackling three interconnected priorities:
• Innovation – Driving technology adoption (AI, automation, digital tools) to make rail safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
• Change – Leading cultural and organisational transformation, including the name change for the PWI to reflect modern identity.
• Skills – Closing the workforce gap through mentoring, apprenticeships, and partnerships with academia and industry.
