Railway sleepers made of Sekisui’s FFU (Fibre-reinforced Foamed Urethane) have been installed worldwide since 1980 and have therefore been in reliable use for over 40 years.
Switch systems and railway bridges are the preferred areas of application. But also the use as flat sleepers and track sleepers and for special constructions offers great possibilities to optimise the railway superstructure.
Patrick talks us through the solutions Sekisui can offer British rail systems, including FFU® synthetic railway sleepers and their various applications in track laying or renewal.
