Simon Skinner will discuss some the challenges of planning and delivery of train testing for new Overhead Line schemes. With strategic supply chain partners, SPL Powerlines’ Simon Skinner led the train testing activities for Midland Mainlines’ most recent energisation event Kettering to Wigston, a legal requirement under Energy National Technical Specification Notices (ENE NTSN), Formally TSi. Simon will discuss some of the complexities, nuances, enhanced static OLE geometry analysis, Test Train outputs and ask the question, is it worth it?
