Keeping Greater Manchester moving – Jennifer McKinney, Amey
London Section meeting
Synopsis: Manchester Metrolink is now the largest light rail network in the UK, running over 100km through 7 Greater Manchester Boroughs.
This review will show how the network has expanded significantly with two thirds constructed over the last decade, progressing towards a London-style transport system for Greater Manchester.

Directions to the Helicon building:
From Liverpool Street National Rail concourse take the Broadgate exit to Eldon Street, and continue into South Place. From Moorgate Underground station walk northwards on Moorgate towards Barclays bank. The Helicon building is at the junction of Moorgate and South Place opposite the bank.
Please sign-in at the ground floor reception, then use the lifts to the 4th floor where you will need to sign-in again at the RSSB reception. From there you will be directed to the room.
