Synopsis: Delivering a railway project is becoming increasing complex – Be it the interfaces (both internal to project or with external parties), advancements in technology, operational constraints or an ever-increasing demand for safety, security, reliability and/or performance improvements.
In this presentation, Kevin will outline a systems approach to delivery based on his experience and how, when and where to apply systems thinking and systems engineering to deliver efficacies in the delivery of simple, complicated and complex projects. Finally, he will share a few case studies whereby, should a systems approach have been applied, the result may have delivered different outcomes.
