Bridlington Station remodelling

Synopsis: In October 2021 Network Rail undertook an 11 day blockade to remodel Bridlington Station. The purpose of the works was to simplify the layout be removing redundant points from the station area. This involved removal of 13 ends of points, the renewal of 3 new ends of points and 1200m of plain line track.
At the same time the mechanical 65 lever frame signal box was converted to an NX panel and powered points operating equipment.
