Glasgow Section hybrid meeting
Synopsis: This presentation will discuss the history of Women in Engineering and some of the barriers women have overcome. Hazel Fisher is an Engineering Assurance Professional with nearly 20 years experience in the rail industry and was also the Network Rail chair for Inspire Scotland (gender equality employee network). Hazel will discuss her own career and the legislation changes that removed barriers for her. The presentation will also cover what organisations exist for women and what they do to remove barriers.
Meeting in person from 17:00 for a 17:30 start. Light refreshments provided.
