Pantograph gauging for minimum electrical clearances
05/10/2022 @ 12:30 - 14:00

Garry Keenor, Group Engineer, Professional Head of Discipline, Atkins
West of England Section online meeting
Synopsis: Pantograph gauging used to be simple – develop a fixed shape pantograph gauge incorporating known tolerances and movement, and apply a generous fixed clearance envelope around it. But the advent of floating head pantographs and Voltage Controlled Clearances has changed all that. In this talk Garry will discussed the new challenges and give a live demonstration of pan gauging using modern techniques.
