Synopsis: How chemistry and mother nature can help solve autumn wheel/rail adhesion problems whilst reducing boots on ballast. INTERFLON (UK) has developed a unique chemistry solution to break down leaf pectin and rust from the railhead; Interflon’s Clean OTR has proven after trials at Network Rail to keep the railhead clean for as long as twenty-five days from a single application. The presentation will go through the product technology, tests conducted around the networks by experienced Network Rail operations managers, and the results after many seasons of testing.

Meeting in person from 17:00 for a 17:30 start. Light refreshments provided.
