Thames Valley Section hybrid meeting
Michael Zeidler and Richard Smith will describe experiences and lessons from 13 years of Swietelsky tamping works on HS1 and explain the growing ballast cleaning requirements for HS1 over the next couple of years. Richard will describe the principle of Plasser’s URM-2 Ballast Cleaner used and its working processes, capacities and performance rates.
