How London’s Underground was built

London Section hybrid meeting

Antony has written seven books on the Underground, two books on London history, many magazine articles and co-authored an academic paper. This presentation will be an engineering-led history of the London Underground, focusing on the construction of the deep-level tubes from 1890 to present day.

**NEW VENUE** RSSB Offices, 25 Fenchurch Avenue, London, EC3M 5AD.

Nearest Underground stations are Monument, Bank and Tower Hill, which are all about a ten-minute walk away. Meeting in person from 17:00 for a 17:30 start for all.
